OneFileCMS is, just like it sounds, is a tiny content management system which is formed of one file (20.4kb).
It is a database-less PHP script that enables you to view/edit/delete/upload files & folders very quickly.
OneFileCMS is very ideal for anyone who updates their websites by editing the source of the files directly.
It is also a backend for anyone without the need of a FTP connection.
The application has a validated, semantic & commented markup. It is unobtrusive & can be re-branded with ease.

Well … it might be helpfull when I’ll make almost static page for someone … then editing can be verry simple (for example content in separate text files ready to edit by the client) … easy, simple … nice idea
Just add some kind syntax highlighting (like in new WordPress) and it is realy cool tool
Just looks like a file manager and text editor. Theres no WYSIWYG editor. I would hardly call it a CMS.

I really like this as a concept! I can see loads of uses for it when I have a client with no need for something complicated like Joomla or Drupal, has not time for lengthy explanations of FTP, and no money for Contribute!
Few modifications to strip the template elements and some code highlighting and this’ll be an extremely useful bit of kit!
Nice work!
Brilliant! So simple yet so easy.
Thanks for the heads up!
Heads up! Version 1.1 is out, which has a couple new features for better branding and file exclusion / disabling.
Thanks for the kind words and constructive criticism. Give it a whirl and let me know what you think!
