WYMeditor is a free XHTML editor script that generates perfectly structured XHTML strict code.

It doesn’t provide shortcuts for styling the fonts, colors, etc. For this reason, it calls itself WYSIWYM (what you see is what you "mean").

This is a very nice feature to prevent novice users from breaking the styles of webpages (which happens most of the time).

WYMeditor is 100% JavaScript, has a skin support via CSS for customizing it and multilingual.

Its makes integrations easier with the API/plugin support provided.

Emastic is a CSS grid framework aiming to ease creating elastic layouts.

It is created by the author of Hartija (see WRD post) & Formy (see WRD post) CSS frameworks and powers users with:

Personalized width of the page in em,px,%.
Use of fixed and fluid columns in the grid.
Elastic Layout with "em"

From the author:

I analyzed all the Grid CSS frameworks and almost everything connected with the Grid System. But I did not want to reinvent the wheel, just to improve the main defects of the existent CSS Frameworks and to add some new features.

Emastic is lightweight (compressed size is less than 4kb) and several examples can be found in the project page.

Rather than standard website templates, a free admin template is nearly impossible to find.

I have created this admin template for a project of mine and pleased to share with WebResourcesDepot readers.

Update (16 July 2010): Giles Wells of MediaGearhead has created a HTML5-CSS3 version of the template. You can find the both versions in the download package and thanks so much to him for the effort.

It is a 3 column design with a tabbed menu. The idea is having the standard categories in the tab menu for an easy reach and have all the detailed ones in the left menu. And there is an info box at the right to inform users what's going on at that page.

You can customize it however you want to fit your project. It has a listing and a new entry sample which covers %99 of an admin screen.

It is free to use the template in commercial projects & no backlinks required (the template itself can not be sold or re-distributed). If you want to say thanks for it and like WebResourcesDepot, I prefer that you keep subscribed to the feed and get the free resources everyday.
