Bowline is an open source framework (not a platform like Adobe AIR or Titanium) for creating desktop applications with Ruby, HTML and JavaScript.

It respects MVC, views can be designed in HTML5/CSS3 and then you can bind them to your Ruby models.

There's no request/response cycle. Any changes in models automatically get reflected in the view.

Most of the web designers/developers, within time, begin to manage too many websites, build resource-consuming applications and require more than a standard web hosting package.

Then it comes to deciding a hosted/ready-to-use platform or own a VPS/dedicated server and host the websites yourself.

There is also Usermin, which is a web-based interface for webmail, updating passwords, creating filters, etc.

What is Paymo?

Projects > Tasks:

Time can be tracked in 3 ways:

It is always possible to manually add/edit/delete the time worked on.

It is also possible to manually add entries that doesn't exist in the timesheets which makes Paymo an independent billing app. as well.

In order to keep record of the invoices, every payment made can be added to the system & the balances of every invoice can be seen with a click.

The application has a powerful reporting module that makes it possible to generate ready-to-use or custom reports. The data can also be exported as PDF or CSV files for future analysis.
