cgSceneGraph is an object-oriented and easy-to-use JavaScript animation framework that is built on top of HTML5 canvas.

It is created with professional apps and games in mind, works cross-browser and has lots of built-in nodes like images, text, buttons, shapes, etc.

The framework is capable of managing complex scenes, supports mouse and touch events, has attributes for draggable + resizable and comes with a collision + particle system.

There is also support for asynchronous image loading, color manipulation and much more.

JZoopraxiscope is a jQuery plugin, inspired from the 1st movie projector Zoopraxiscope, for making animations from a list of static images.

Besides jQuery, it also uses jQuery UI and requires the frames to be animated as a single, horizontal image.

It all works by calling a simple function where we define dimensions of the images and the frame.

After that, JZoopraxiscope works with the help of play and pause buttons provided.

Although it looks hard to use the resource widely, with a bit help of creativity, it can beautify a web page easily.

$fx() is a JavaScript animation library which is only 3.7kb.

Within a timeline, any CSS property can be altered. And also:

• you can combine effects
• group them to the chains and run parallel
• set different callbacks what gives you even more flexibility.

$fx() is definitely not an alternative to other well-known JavaScript frameworks. On the other hand it does its job (animation) good & if that’s what you need, then it saves you from loading bigger sizes of JS files.

FIVe3D is an open source code for creating vector-based 3D animations with Flash.

These Flash animation classes are built with AS3 and has the following features:

• Back face culling
• Flat shading
• Z-sorting
• Space drawing functions
• Bitmap3D class
• Video3D class
• Sprite 2D class
• Letter spacing
• Text width

Tip:

FIVe3D considers a text as a collection of letters, each letter being a vector shape. To draw these vector shapes, drawing instructions are saved in a typography file.

There is free tool at the website which enables you to create typography files.
