Is anyone having an issue when rendering text with sIFR Lite, that their links don’t work? I had a text based nav menu that worked beautifully prior to my implementing sIFR Lite. Help!

Hello there.
I’ve been playing with sIFR Lite and is amazing, but it kept breaking the text when trying to render UFT-8 characters like ń or Ñ but only when the charset was defined as utf-8, so, I changed the escape() to encodeURIComponent() in this line:
var sVars = ‘txt=’ + escape(el.innerHTML)… bla bla bla

So now it looks like this:

var sVars = ‘txt=’ + encodeURIComponent(el.innerHTML)… bla bla bla

This works excellent for non ASCII characters.
