Similar problems occurred to me as well.

I removed the application from add/remove programs, restarted PC, re-installed and worked.

However, I have read many users can have problems somehow.

I can’t get it to work either. Error message reads: An error occurred while buffering the application. Please try again.

I installed the plug-in already. Error occurs for all the browser options.

I can’t get this to work. Opened the IE6 link on Firefox and it just opened up Microsoft’s website. I then used IE8 to open it, and this time saw an option to install plugin. I do so, then hit the big green launch button and then I get Office Enterprise setup dialog that takes a while then asks to restart. I do so, go back to the page to launch IE6 and same Office dialog pops up, so screw it, it doesn’t work for me.

Is it just me as I cannot get this plugin to work on my desktop machine – just keeps saying ‘buffering….’ but doesn’t seem to ever finish…

Great concept. I am amazed at the people who commented, lamenting that it is windows only. I don’t understand how you can design for users (most of whom will be viewing the site on a windows) and not have a windows platform to test the site. Maybe drop the snobbery and more people use PC’s than Macs. Keep the whole audience in mind.

Where is the plugin? I’m not promted with a plugin install and do not see a link on the page. I’m using Firefox 3.5/OS X 10.6.2
