And here is one of the worst PSD to HTML Slicing services you NEVER should use.
XHTMLCHOP.com worst slicing service ever!
They promise pixelperfect HANDCODED HTML Code. What we got back was the worst work we had seen in a long time. We actually had 2 projects with them.
First of all the whole site was generated by using Site Grinder 2.0.
So this is the first big lie on their website. And they seem to use this tool for all their sites.
Nobody seemed to compare the output with the original design. They sent html files which were a mess. They forgot major site elements on almost every page. All sites had different margins and paddings. Nothing looked ass it was supposed to be. The quality of code...well I guess you can imagine yourself.
Actually we couldnt believe it, but hey, they got a money back guarantee on their website. They guarantee money back:
Money-Back Policy We guarantee to give you a refund only in following circumstances:
Your order cannot be finished at time.
You are not satisfied with the final product.

And man, werer we NOT satisified. They promised to refund the money through paypal. But after that you never heard anything from them again.
All emails, phone calls in India where they reside...unanswered. The american number is a fake anyway.
This whole "company" seems to be more of a scam. Somebody who claims to make fine handcoded webesites offers seo optimization (which of course is more expensive)and delivers back a generated site directly out of Photoshop i would call a fraud. Now we have to go through all the hustle with the worlds biggest scam PayPal to try to get our money back. ;))
XHTMLCHOP SUCKS!
cheers guys

PS:
Maybe somebody reads this beforehand and save them time, money and everything else

Psd2HTML just takes so damn long. They promise you 8 hours, but somehow it turns into days. The code is pretty good stuff though.

I started using www.codemyconcept.com - they are pretty good. Code is great, and turn-around is usually on time.

There are a few others out there also.

So far i didn't have problems with
http://www.mypsdtohtml.com

They convert a design from any of common formats (PSD, PNG, JPG, GIF etc)
to a high-quality XHTML-CSS page ready directly as a single-page website or to be integrated in any CMS system.

I mught give a try again

Yeah- I think that's the issue with all of these psd to html conversion businesses. The prices they charge is certainly affordable but you have to realize that most of these guys are overseas relative to the U.S

And when you throw in a few Q&As, then a simple project that would normally take 48 hours to complete can easily take 5-7 days.

Many of us just don't have that flexibility in our deadlines.

I've used PSD2HTML several times, and the end product is usually great. You are right that the process always takes longer than you would expect compared to the claims on their website. I've had projects that took 3 days, and some that took 1.5 weeks

On the last project we had some issues with the javascript menu they put in, it gets a little rough when there is a solid 24hrs between questions and answers, and more often more questions. After 1 week of this back and forth I just hired a freelancer to fix it. I don't think i will use them again - I just don't have that kind of flexibility with my deadlines.
