Hi,

Currently i’m using phplist to send newsletter .Now we manually entry the newsletter html from our-site to phplist admin when we send a newsletter . Is it possible to send the newsletter from our-site to phplist automatically without the copy /paste data from html file .

I respect the effort of the developers but this is not ready for prime time. I write php scripts for several web sites and realize that it has its limitations. However, phplist is too quirky in my opinion. My webhost installed it for me. The first time I tried to configure and use phplist, it was so frustrating that I scrapped it and started over. This time, it had system errors that prevented it from sending messages. Scrapped that and carefully set it up the third time. It actually sent messages but was so primitive that I just said “forget it”. However, as the developers emphasized “it is free”. Don’t complain, just don’t use it.

@DJ, yes, PHP list tracks emails.

I’m put off from using it because of the interface. It’s a shame, I think PoMmo and phpLists should team up together… be nice to have something between the 2.

What Desktop aps are people using then? Might look into this avenue.

Hi, i’m just try diferent mailing software for my clients. like pommo. but i realize thath pommo can’t track sent mails. Is phplist the right one to track open mails? can i send 2500 mails?, thanks.

Hi! Hope you can help me in PhPlist. The Unsubscribe link not working and many of my client emailed me a report the unsubscribe link dosen’t work and this resulted my email and my website reported as a spam. Can you give me a solution to this problem. Thanks!

can i import newsletters from other sources like websites to the phplist and send it to a group?

I use a desktop application too. On the other hand, for customer projects, I used phplist several times and very happy with it.

I wonder why no one commented on this yet? no one interested or are they using other tool?

I prefer using desktop application myself though.
