This looks pretty neat. Think I might mess around with this today
Not sure about this one.
Umm… i find it just a little troubling that the features list is a copy/paste job from CometChat… and they even left in “CometChat will display users’ status messages during chat”.
Quick look at CometChat site confirms its a copy/paste job. They don’t seem to be the same company. I’d say someone might want to confirm if this is legit usage, and its just a case of they were too lazy to write their own feature list, before using for any commercial usage.

how can i login to iJab, is there any demo hosts to login?
how can i get that????
@mondo,
I’ll be checking that now.
@Vahag,
You can login to demo with any random user-pass.
@mondo
I’m just too lazy to write the text and now I’ve changed the text.
iJab is based on XMPP protocol and is very, very different with CometChat.
iJab is licensed under GPLv2. I hope people who love XMPP would like iJab and iJab would help XMPP.
Website seems to be down now but you can still download it from http://code.google.com/p/ijab/
I wonder where the source files of this conversation, I would like to use as a server for your own on our servers.
