In my experience, the lag is much lower compared to spreadsheets as they are Flash-based and you don’t realize the requests sent/received.

How is the speed of these apps since they’re hosted online? How is the lag?

I haven’t used many online image editors, but the difference between, say, MS Excel on a computer and Google Spreadsheets is noticeable. And that’s only spreadsheets.

Yes, online image editors are useful when you are not at your own computer. I have also introduced 13 online image editors on my blog, but without flauntR, which I will check it out later. Thanks for sharing.

That is a very detailed info beautifully prepared. Not lots of links but only the best ones.

I’m using Aviary since they launched and it performs well.

But Sumo Paint also hunted me. It is Photoshop, very few differences.

I’m a fan of WRD, keep up the great work.
