Nuggetz is a free CMS application for easily and quickly controlling websites where the content is not stored in a database.
It is powered with PHP and integrates with any website design. You can simply make a section of a web page editable by calling a code like $mynugget = new nuggetz("name");.
The application works with modal boxes and, once logged in, the editable sections are displayed like the screenshot above.
You can click to any section and edit it inside a WYSIWYG editor. The content is saved inside the files themselves (just like an HTML file).

CushyCMS does a similar thing, but it doesn’t use php, you just have to add a class=”cushycms” to make the div/paragraph/image/whatever editable
CushyCMS is a hosted solution…
I think is more like editease (http://code.google.com/p/editease/) who works also with IE6
CouchCMS (http://www.couchcms.com/) also uses XHTML tags to mark out editable regions but also does a lot more.
Is free for non-commercial and personal sites.
Hey, thanks for featuring Nuggetz on your site. I thought you might like to know that version 2.0 is out. Main differences are that the application now uses JQuery (from CDN) in preference to BBC’s Glow Framework and TinyMCE in place of FCKEditor. It’s faster at runtime and much smaller download/upload.
