New FCKeditor With More Features: CKEditor

FCKeditor, one of the most popular free WYSIWYG editors around now has a new version with more features & a lighter name: CKEditor.
WYSIWYG editors generally load slow due to the highly-used JavaScript. One of the best things CKEditor offers is the seriously improved perfomance to eliminate this problem.
Also, it is now an accessible script in compliance with the W3C WCAG & the US Section 508.
CKEditor offers a rich & powerful integration and interaction API. The editor is also totally plugin based & can be extended/modified in all senses to fit every need.
With a new user interface based on a fresh skin which is colorful like a chameleon, you can change its color to match your needs.

Is this also flooded with useless buttons ?
You can decide what button you want to display or not
When I checked out FCKeditor vs. CKeditor a few weeks back, I found that CKeditor just didn’t have some of the features that FCKeditor did, like the image upload/manager. Looks like that’s now integrated.
I was just about to get to the point in my project where I was going to integrate FCKeditor. Looks like I might use CKeditor instead. Thanks for the heads-up.
This post is very good for me.. i can get many tips and trick on this blog.. thank’s for u’r information my friend! this is my first time to visiting to your blog..
The look and feel is better and is accesible and faster but the lack of the image upload functionality makes the old editor better in my opinion.
