jQuery Image Slider With Attractive Effects: Coin Slider

Coin Slider is a jQuery image slider plugin that has unique transition effects.
It has a navigation box and prev-next buttons that appear on hover for easily browsing images.
The slider has an optional auto-slide feature which can also pause on hovers.
Coin Slider can "show information" about the images displayed and images can also be set as links to the defined URLs.
The plugin has also a lot of room for customizing the effects, including:
- effect type (random, swirl, rain, straight)
- squares per width and height
- delays in squares and transitions
- opacity level and speed of the information
And, best of all, it is compatible with all major browsers (yes, including IE6).

This is exactly what I’ve been after, its simple and minimal code. I generally just use a lightbox but as my sites use various jQuery that runs off one jQuery library the light box always seems to run off a different on which conflicts with my other scripts .

awesome jquery! That was so fast and easy to pop in! Only I seem to have my images as a background on repeat. I looked around in the js and css but could not find anything that set the image as a background or set background-repeat:repeat; any suggestions? Thanks for the awesome gallery without flash though very smooth.

but i have an issue. my image not set gave height and width. that means image display only half. i want to display fully image i gave height and width. can u help me.?

Awesome jquery! its 1 of the best jqueries that I have come across. I have an issue here, I have traced to resize it according to my needs. Im not good at coding, but can manage simple html with css…. everything works cool all I need is a preloader, though I have used low reis images, the screen appears empty till the images are loaded… how can I add a gif preloader so that the preloader animates till the image gets cashed. Thanku once again for this amazing piece of code.
