IE6 CSS Fixer is a free web-based tool to decrease the monkey work when starting an IE6 CSS fix file.
It is not a magical one-click solution that will solve every possible problem, it can even create new errors, but it is a handy solution that offers customized fixes for commonly known problems.
The tool simply checks your CSS file & creates new CSS rules for the possible problematic objects. New rules can be inserted as a seperate CSS file easily to check if they cause any problems.
Some CSS fixes it offers are:
- adding
display:inlineto floated elements - converting
min-heightvalues - fixing negative margins & more.

I am a daily viewer of WRD for the last few months via rss feed on my safari. I just would like to thank you for your great resourceful finding here, it is really helpful for a web developer like me. What I find a bit annoying though is the ‘open in a new window’ feature you have added to all your external links. This is really annoying that I am thinking of unsubscribing from your site, if it annoys me in the next couple of weeks. I use safari mostly, and if you can come up with a way to automatically let it open in a new tab (like in ffox) in safari please let us know.
Great one to decrease web designers’ headache now (:
@Raul,
Great to hear that WRD is helpful for you.
I’m planning to change all links to standard links very soon. Even had an attempt few days ago to do this by running a query in the posts database. Had faced few problems. So will be running a better query in a few days that will update all links.
So, keep following WRD
