After the popularity of iPhone applications where (web) developers are creating so many new ones each day, it won't be wrong to expect the same for iPad.
In order to design for the iPad easier, RawApps, a blog focused on mobile application development, is sharing a detailed and free iPad GUI Kit.
The kit is in PSD format, its canvas size is parallel to the iPad's 768×1024px and includes layers like the keyboard, sliders, icons, the canvas, etc.

I’d say it is wrong to expect the same for iPad. iPhone brought easier usability of smart(er)phones for the masses even though Symbian and Windows Mobile was around and pretty good. iPad doesn’t bring anything new and for a device that size is incredibly lame and no amount of innovative applications can fix that, when you can get different devices of same type with a REAL OS…
This will at least make someone happy.
Thanks for bringing this to the attention of you audience. Just wanted to give you a head’s up on an icon set we just rolled out yesterday as well for the iPad developers as well. I’ll be posting some backgrounds and skins for iPad apps sometime next week as well.
i would like to test the ipad and own one
