This would be useful if it relied on LDAP for a backend rather than mySQL. Then, contact information could be synced with traditional contact managers.
I like the idea of web based contact management that you host yourself (a lot). I also like how easy it is to enter notes along with each contact. It would make journaling communication easy.
Still duplicating contact information over-and-over again is troublesome.
