great idea, and would like to see it develop. It would be great if there were some more options in the CSS, perhaps a selection of grid layouts like 960.gs or Blueprint CSS? Also, how about some nice typographic defaults to pick from?

I too, agree it doesn't take much effort to create this yourself, but it's nice to have a bookmark you can click on and have the files delivered in a second, especially if the JS/CSS had more options.

@Yalcin I don't take offense at all :)

I actually was asking how could this app ever become useful for you? I made this for me and it works great for me, even more so when I use my Fluid.app SSB. My name is linked to a place to leave comments and suggestions and I would love to hear your suggestions on how to make this app work for you.

As of now, I am working on 2 possible major updates:

1. Upload a very simple XML file and it will create files and folders based on your custom structure and then will create a link to redownload it later.

2. An actual user system and would allow you to upload files and set up a framework that is completely customized by you with your own uploaded files, images, and anything else you use every time. This would be in the 2.0 release.

I mean no offence. It's just my opinion. I start a new site maybe once a fortnight. It takes me all of about 1 minute and a half to copy base files and folders from a template.

Besides I like to structure my folders differently, and most developers will have their own pedantic preferences. So I would need to re-jig the output anyway (unless there was a massive amount of flexibility, options and preferences that I can set once and reuse everytime).

Besides I like to structure my folders differently, and I'd bet many experienced developers will have their own preferences. So I personally can't see much to gain - that is all.

Please ignore my ramblings; if you've gone to 20k views overnight, you're onto something.

@Yalcin:
I'm a web developer and I am constantly pumping out web sites. This wasn't for people who don't know how to make a web sites. It is intended for people to create a simple framework quickly. It's not there to teach anyone anything.

I use it all the time for work. I have bookmarked (as I explain in the documentation) the deployed page which then I can go back to by clicking a bookmark and download and have a XHTML, CSS, jQuery, and folder set up instantly rather than, right click, new folder, name it, right click, new folder, name it.

I also wasn't expecting it to be this popular. I uploaded it for myself more than anything and then I went for 4 page views a day to 20,000%+ more in a couple days.

I have a plan for people who want more custom frameworks though. I'm working on a version in Adobe AIR as well as a version which allow you to just make your own folders and structure and save it using either an XML file or something of the like.

I would love to hear how you would make it better though Yalcin because originally this was just for myself to quicken my process of web projects.

Pretty lame IMO. Anyone who knows about JQuery, CSS and strict doctypes won't need this. And those that don't wouldn't know what to do with the generated "framework".
