Compare Website Speeds: Which Loads Faster?

There are various online and offline tools to find out the loading speeds of websites. And, now, there is a new one with few different features.
Which Loads Faster? is a free and open source web service which enables you to compare the speeds of 2 websites while watching the results live.
You simply mention the URLs of both websites and before submitting the request, it is possible to select:
- whether this will be a parallel or a serial request,
- number of times the test to be repeated
There is also a fun feature named "race" where you can set multiple websites on both sides and they will load one after another (like a flag race).
And, once a test is completed, the service provides you a sharing link where you can send it to friends or bookmark to perform the test regularly.

Holy crap… What connection speed are you on? That is showing that each took over a minute to load. And your site loads faster than Amazon.com on my testing. w00t
i have tried with two of my hosting companies, both of them with wordpress, now, i know why one of them is most expensive, thanks for sharing
@Giles
I was downloading a software at the time of the test, that’s the reason
.
As for me site loading speed is not that important. I can load some nonsense in a second, so what. i’d better wait to see nice and ez to use page.
this is a excellent post , thanks for sharing your stuff with us
I just compared two of my sites and realize my main site is slower than my other site..
May be because of lots of scripts I’m using…
One of the major reasn for slowdown is because I was using Facebook receommendation social widget and after I removed it and checked with Pingdom my site becaome 0.8 sec faster..
Thanks for letting us know about this useful tool…
