There is another lighter theme in the package which looks better & you can very easily create a new look. On the other hand auto-thumbnailing feature works great & it has a desktop application support for managing the gallery. For me, its may not be the best gallery like you said but it easily shapes to whatever you want.. @Joe,

I dont really know for which use that is? For Portfolio? Its to ugly -for showcasing Wallpapers and Banners? Maybe.
